Not only our personal favorite, but also our only journal with a built in snap closure. The Lockfold combines the spacious layout of a our other Chronicle Edition journals with the satisfying security of a metal snap. Clean, durable, and designed for writers who love a more tactile, intentional closure. Note: This journal can comfortably accommodate 4 journals but any more and the snap closure may become a little difficult to close.

• Sizing: (Closed)  15.3 cm × 21.7 cm | 6" × 8.5" 

• Every journal comes standard with 1 dotted paper notebook, so you can start writing the moment it arrives. Extra paper notebooks can be added in the customization options.

• This journal has no outer band but instead uses a snap closure for a more secure hold. It has been noted that some of the snaps can be a little hard to open-and-close when brand new but with time they gently soften and create a easier to open-and-close experience.

A Note on Craftsmanship

Every journal is crafted from premium Italian Full-Grain, Vegetable-Tanned Vacchetta leather. Because this material is entirely natural, variations in color, tone, grain pattern, thickness, and small markings are normal and are part of what makes each piece one-of-a-kind.

Each Journal is hand-cut, hand-measured, and hand-finished, so minor differences between individual journals may occur. These nuances reflect the craftsmanship behind every journal and serve as a little reminder that they have gone through many hands right before reaching yours.

• Production time: 1–2 weeks though often sooner
• Shipping time varies by location and method
• Tracking is emailed once your order ships

Returns & Exchanges
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and is non-refundable.

Because each piece is handmade, we do not accept returns on:
• Used or written-in journals, notebooks, or folders
• Custom embossed journals
• Natural variations in leather color, grain, or markings

If your item arrives damaged or we made a mistake, email paperboyleather@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll gladly repair, replace, or refund your item.
